The Raging River

Change is the raging river and I am the boulder it pummels

What will be left when the rain subsides?

Will I live to see myself become a pebble at the bottom of the river?

Or will I get swept into the never ending ocean?

How do I find safety?

When will this torment end?

Will this rushing current ever subside?

How many years will it take for the water to destroy me?

I am drowning and you watch from the safety of the shore

Why do you never try to help me?

Why must you rain in the river?

Are you afraid to fall in?
