Love

By Arden Salotti

Love.

Find what you love

And let it kill you.

Let it kill you in the way

That nothing else can.

Let it smolder through your mind,

Through your body,

Become blind.

Let it envelop you;

Your structure,

Your weight,

Until you asphyxiate.

It’s like a warm little hug,

Squeezing tighter,

And tighter.

You’re not allowed to fight her.

Embrace the love,

As it alters your mind.

Embrace the love,

As you’ve been left behind.

Embrace the love.

Let it chop off your hands,

Your thighs,

Your face

Your eyes.

Let your case go cold,

Your skin grow mold.

Feel as your body gets one last hug,

By the warm cozy dirt.

You fit nice and snug.

It’s all in the name of love.

“Find what you love and let it kill you”
