“Today”

By A Poem Guy

Today I try the trials in space

Against the many scars in my face,

I will try today.

Too long I have pondered,

Or avoided and wandered,

My start starts today.

Sleeping and weeping

When I should have been scheming,

It ends today.

I shall start my path,

Against theory and math,

I must hold fast.

Regardless of fear,

In a vain want of cheer,

I shall go near

That I hold dear,

For in my life,

I have ran from strife,

When I should have stood strong,

Faced it head on.

But that ends

Today.
